Customer privacy
This policy explains the information used to operate customer accounts, answer requests, prepare estimates, coordinate orders, and provide optional communications.

Depending on how you use the website, information may include your name, email address, telephone number, delivery or billing address, organization, date of birth, product interests, messages, quote details, order and invoice records, freight destination, payment preference, and account activity.
Date of birth is private account information used to verify that the customer meets the account age requirement. It is not intended for public display. Birthday timing is used for an annual birthday message only when the customer separately opts in, and that consent can be withdrawn.
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide requested product information, answer messages, prepare and manage estimates or orders, calculate or confirm freight, maintain records, prevent misuse, improve website operation, meet legal obligations, and send communications selected by the customer.
The signed-in product assistant may process a customer’s question together with current Forged Torque catalog information to prepare a response. AI-generated answers are limited to informational assistance and should be confirmed through a written estimate before purchase. Administrative receipt-processing features may analyze business receipts for recordkeeping; customer payment-card numbers should never be submitted through messages or receipt images.
Raw credit- or debit-card numbers are not stored in the Forged Torque customer profile. Payment information entered on a hosted payment page is handled under that payment provider’s privacy and security practices. Customers should never send full card details in a website message.
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, authentication, communications, AI-assisted features, payment processing, shipping, installation coordination, analytics, security, and recordkeeping. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to complete a requested transaction, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or address suspected fraud or misuse. Forged Torque does not sell personal information for money.
Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, including customer service, transactions, warranty administration, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Customers can review and update available profile information after signing in, decline optional birthday email, unsubscribe through an included link, and request assistance with account information through private messaging. Certain transaction or compliance records may need to be retained.
Customer accounts are intended for adults. The website does not knowingly invite children under 18 to create customer accounts or submit purchase requests.
Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date. Privacy questions or account requests can be submitted through the signed-in messaging system so the request remains associated with the authenticated customer.
